My Summary of the 25th Study of Luke<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alright, everyone! First, here is my personal study summary for today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus took Peter, John, and James up a mountain to pray. While He was praying, His appearance changed dramatically: His face shone, and His clothes became dazzling white. Then the two greatest figures of the Old Testament\u2014Moses and Elijah\u2014appeared in glory and spoke with Jesus about His coming death in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The disciples, once fully awake, were amazed. Peter, overwhelmed, suggested building three shelters to honor Jesus, Moses, and Elijah. But then a cloud, symbolizing God&#8217;s presence, covered them, and a voice spoke from the cloud:<br><strong>\u201cThis is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to Him!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, everything returned to normal\u2014Jesus was alone again. Sister Ingrid\u2019s Comment on My Summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hello everybody. It is always interesting, that Jesus selects Peter Jamens and John to be with him on the mountain. God does not discrimate, but Jesus selected three of the disiples to have a leaders rol after his resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Something that is of interests, too is, that the disciples were sleepy. Later in the garden Getsemanie where Jesus swetted blood and asked the father if it is possible, that this cup will pass by, the disciples slept, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The men that appeared were Elijah, who represents the prophets and Moises, who represents the law, because in the Old Testimonys scriptures it was written about the coming of the Messiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the disciples awoke, Peter wanted to build cottages for Moises and Elijah.<br>But it came a cloud, that made them fear and the cloud spoke to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was the same voice that came out of heaven at Jesus baptism, that said, that Jesus was the son of God and they should hear what he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus had no earthly witness, that said, that he is the son of God. But God confirmed two times through a voice from heaven, that Jesus is the son on God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Question List Based on the 25th Study of Luke<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on today\u2019s study of the Bible passage, I will now ask Sister Ingrid some related questions.<br>We hope the following questions will help our brothers and sisters who have recently become Christians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. What amazing change happened to Jesus\u2019 appearance and clothes while He was praying?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became whiter than any earthly bleach could make them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Who were the two famous figures from the past who appeared and talked with Jesus?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>They were Moses and Elijah.<br>Moses represents the Law of the Old Testament, and Elijah represents the Prophets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. What important event were Moses and Elijah talking to Jesus about, which was going to happen in Jerusalem?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>They talked about His coming sacrifice in Jerusalem\u2014how He would die for the sins of the world so that ordinary people like you and me can be reconciled with God and restored to fellowship with Him, and have eternal life after death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. How did Peter, John, and James feel at first, and what did they see when they fully woke up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>They were frightened and overwhelmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Why did Peter suggest building three tents? What does it mean that he \u201cdid not know what he was saying\u201d?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Peter suggested building three shelters, one for each of them.<br>He did not know what he was saying because he spoke out of fear and confusion, and it makes no sense to build earthly shelters for heavenly figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. What frightening thing happened right after Peter spoke, and how did the disciples feel?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A cloud came down from heaven and covered them. They were very afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. What did the voice from the cloud say about Jesus, and what instruction did it give?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The voice from heaven said:<br><strong>\u201cThis is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to Him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was the second confirmation from God the Father that Jesus is His Son. The third confirmation came later from Jesus Himself, although by then it was already clear who He was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. After everything was over and the voice was gone, who was left alone with the disciples?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus was alone with the disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Later in the garden Getsemanie where Jesus swetted blood and asked the father if it is possible, that this cup will pass by, the disciples slept, too. The men that appeared were Elijah, who represents the prophets and Moises, who represents the law, because in the Old Testimonys scriptures it was written about the coming of the Messiah. When the disciples awoke, Peter wanted to build cottages for Moises and Elijah.But it came a cloud, that made them fear and the cloud spoke to them. It was the same voice that came out of heaven at Jesus baptism, that said, that Jesus was the son of God and they should hear what he says. Jesus had no earthly witness, that said, that he is the son of God. But God confirmed two times through a voice from heaven, that Jesus is the son on God. 4.
