Today is the fourth lecture on the Gospel of Luke.<br>Everyone is welcome to leave a message in the comment area for discussion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.My summary of Luke fourth-time study:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, everybody! Firstly, is still my today\u2019s personal study summary.<br>After Jesus was baptized, He was full of the Holy Spirit and went into the wilderness for 40 days, led by the Spirit. During this time, He didn&#8217;t eat anything, so naturally, He was super hungry.<br>That\u2019s when the devil showed up to tempt Him. First, the devil said, \u201cIf you\u2019re really the Son of God, turn this stone into bread.\u201d But Jesus responded, \u201cThe Bible says man doesn\u2019t live by bread alone.\u201d<br>Then the devil tried again. He showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and said, \u201cI\u2019ll give you all the power and glory of these kingdoms if you worship me.\u201d But Jesus shot back, \u201cThe Bible says to worship only God.\u201d<br>The devil didn\u2019t stop there. He took Jesus to the top of the temple in Jerusalem and dared Him to jump off, saying, \u201cIf you\u2019re the Son of God, angels will save you because the Bible says they will.\u201d But Jesus firmly replied, \u201cThe Bible also says not to test God.\u201d<br>Finally, after trying every trick, the devil gave up and left, waiting for another chance.<br>Through all this, Jesus showed incredible strength and faith, relying on God\u2019s Word to stand up to temptation.<br>Now let Ingrid sister make a go further summary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.Sister\u2019s comment from my studying summary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hello sister, Jesus was during his earthly life among us God and human being at the same time, but without sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That was why the devil tempted him, because he wanted him to fall in sin just like Eve fell in sin years before through the devil\u2019s temptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like the temptation in paradise had something to do with food, the devil tried first if he could tempt Jesus to disobey Gods will by changing stones to bread, too. But even Jesus was hungry, he defended himself by arguing, that man lives not only by bread but by the word of God, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next temptation had something to do, that the devil tempted Jesus to undergo the cross. He said, you can have the whole earth for free, when you adore me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have to remember, that Adam and Eve left the earth over to the devil by obeying him and the mission of Jesus by coming to the earth was to conquer back the earth for God by giving his blood on the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The devil wants to have adoration, but Jesus stayed firm and did not give him adoration and preferred to die for us and insisted that there is only God to be worshipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last temptation was a bit tricky, because the devil learned very fast from Jesus, that there is power in the word of God and he became religious by telling Jesus a part of a psalm and arguing with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He tempted Jesus to do an unbelievable show for all people around him. But Jesus said, that it is forbidden to test God and he referred to his Goodness, that he is not only human being but God and then the devil gave up for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Q list part: base on Luke 4th items:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Okay. Base on above bible study content, now let me ask sister some related questions.<br>We hope the following questions can be helpful to our brothers and sisters who have just become Christians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why did Jesus go into the wilderness, and who led Him there?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spirit led him there. We have no information if it was the Holy Spirit or another spirit. But the reason is, that Jesus had to prove, that he can stay without sin and being sinless without temptation is too easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How long did Jesus stay in the wilderness, and what did He do during that time?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>He stayed 40 days in the wilderness and fasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What was the first temptation the devil used against Jesus?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The devil told Jesus, that he should convert stones into bread. First, he put in doubt that Jesus was the son of God, and then he approached, that Jesus was hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How did Jesus respond to the devil\u2019s suggestion to turn stones into bread?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>He said, that man does not live only by bread but of each word which comes out of the mouth of God. It is written in 5 Mose 8,3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What did the devil promise Jesus if He worshipped him?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>He promised Jesus all kingdoms on heaven because they belong to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why did Jesus refuse to worship the devil?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus will conquer back all kingdoms of the earth, but not by worshipping the devil, which has the only will to be worshipped, but by dying on the cross for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What did the devil ask Jesus to do at the top of the temple, and why?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>He wanted Jesus to jump down from the temple. There could happen two things: Jesus could die or it would be a great show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How did Jesus respond to the devil\u2019s challenge at the temple?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus answered with the bible verse of 5 Mose 6,16: You shall not tempt your Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What does this story teach us about handling temptation?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>When we are tempted, we should answer with the word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"10\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why is it important to rely on God\u2019s Word, as Jesus did in this story?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness\u20022 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. Kommentar der Schwester zu meiner Studienzusammenfassung:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Hallo, Schwester!<br>W\u00e4hrend seines irdischen Lebens war Jesus zugleich Gott und Mensch, jedoch ohne S\u00fcnde.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Das war der Grund, warum der Teufel Ihn versuchte \u2013 er wollte, dass Er wie Eva durch seine Versuchung in S\u00fcnde f\u00e4llt.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Wie die Versuchung im Paradies etwas mit Nahrung zu tun hatte, versuchte der Teufel zuerst, ob er Jesus dazu bringen konnte, Gottes Willen zu missachten, indem Er Steine zu Brot machte. Aber obwohl Jesus Hunger hatte, verteidigte Er sich mit dem Argument, dass der Mensch nicht nur von Brot, sondern auch von Gottes Wort lebt.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Die n\u00e4chste Versuchung bezog sich darauf, dass der Teufel Jesus davon abhalten wollte, das Kreuz auf sich zu nehmen. Er sagte: \u201eDu kannst die ganze Erde umsonst haben, wenn du mich anbetest.\u201c<br>Wir m\u00fcssen uns erinnern, dass Adam und Eva die Erde durch ihren Gehorsam gegen\u00fcber dem Teufel an ihn \u00fcbergaben. Jesus kam auf die Erde, um die Welt durch Sein Blut am Kreuz f\u00fcr Gott zur\u00fcckzuerobern.<br>Der Teufel will angebetet werden, aber Jesus blieb standhaft und betete ihn nicht an. Stattdessen entschied Er sich, f\u00fcr uns zu sterben, und betonte, dass nur Gott allein angebetet werden darf.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Die letzte Versuchung war etwas tricky, denn der Teufel hatte schnell gelernt, dass es Macht im Wort Gottes gibt, und begann selbst religi\u00f6s zu argumentieren. Er zitierte einen Psalm und versuchte, Jesus zu einem spektakul\u00e4ren \u00f6ffentlichen Wunder zu verleiten. Aber Jesus erwiderte, dass es verboten ist, Gott zu versuchen, und verwies auf Gottes G\u00fcte \u2013 Er sei nicht nur ein Mensch, sondern Gott. Wir wissen nicht, ob es der Heilige Geist oder ein anderer Geist war. Der Grund war, dass Jesus beweisen musste, dass Er ohne S\u00fcnde bleiben kann \u2013 ohne Versuchung s\u00fcndenfrei zu sein, w\u00e4re zu einfach.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Wie lange blieb Jesus in der W\u00fcste, und was tat Er w\u00e4hrend dieser Zeit?<\/strong><br>Er blieb 40 Tage in der W\u00fcste und fastete.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Was war die erste Versuchung, die der Teufel gegen Jesus einsetzte?<\/strong><br>Der Teufel sagte zu Jesus, Er solle Steine in Brot verwandeln. Han viste Jesus alle verdens riker og sa: \u00abJeg gir deg makt og herlighet over alle disse rikene hvis du tilber meg.\u00bb Men Jesus svarte: \u00abSkriften sier at du bare skal tilbe Gud.\u00bb<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Djevelen ga seg imidlertid ikke. S\u00f8sterens kommentar til min studieoppsummering:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Hei s\u00f8ster!<br>Under sitt jordiske liv var Jesus b\u00e5de Gud og menneske, men uten synd.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Det var derfor djevelen fristet ham \u2013 han \u00f8nsket at Jesus skulle falle i synd, slik Eva falt for djevelens fristelse i fortiden.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Akkurat som fristelsen i paradis var knyttet til mat, pr\u00f8vde djevelen f\u00f8rst \u00e5 f\u00e5 Jesus til \u00e5 trosse Guds vilje ved \u00e5 gj\u00f8re steiner om til br\u00f8d. Djevelen sa: \u00abDu kan f\u00e5 hele verden gratis hvis du tilber meg.\u00bb<br>Vi m\u00e5 huske at Adam og Eva overga verden til djevelen ved \u00e5 adlyde ham, og Jesu oppdrag p\u00e5 jorden var \u00e5 gjenvinne verden for Gud ved \u00e5 utgyte sitt blod p\u00e5 korset.<br>Djevelen vil bli tilbedt, men Jesus sto fast og nektet \u00e5 tilbe ham.
